Forum on Education
On Monday February 26, the NYC Student Union, in conjunction with Future Voters of America, is holding a Forum on Education with a panel of educators, administrators, and students discussing the role of students in the New York City education system. The panel members will each briefly present their perspectives on this issue, and then the discussion will open to all attendees to ask questions and add their own views on the issue. Our goal is for this to be a highly productive and inclusive discussion and that by the end of the forum we will have reached a conclusion about the ideal student role in the New York City school system.
The forum is open to anyone who’s interested in discussing the topic at hand and coming to a conclusion so that the meeting will be productive and work toward a common goal.
Monday, February 26th at 4:30pm
Pace University (downtown)
1 Pace Plaza New York, NY 10038
If you have questions about the forum please don’t hesitate to contact us at (646) 429-0077 or union@nycstudents.org.

Tomorrow, Tuesday January 30th, at 1:00pm is the big outreach meeting! We’ll be in a wireless room, so bring cell phones and laptops so we can call and send out emails to schools with information about who we are and what we do to try to gather more membership and an even more diverse group of students.
It’s at the UFT Offices, as usual. 50 Broadway between Exchange and Morris. If you have a copy of the high school directory, bring it along. The more copies, the better.
See you there!
