There has been a change of plans! The second FVA forum (The Environment) has been rescheduled for March due to Jan 16 being part of finals week for some schools. This means that our forum is next! So lets think real hard about it, come up with a list of ideas, and maybe we can meet with FVA on January 9th, which is the day after our next meeting, and discuss things. If you have ideas for the forum, post them as comments, or bring them up in discussions. Do it for stars. :)

Guys, we have a phone number! Check out our new “Contact the Union” page. Send us a voicemail! We also have a myspace, a facebook, and a couple of other things like that. We are hi-tech!

Also, just a reminder, we’re not meeting again until January 8th. There’ll be a more proper announcement later on. Happy Holidays!

Staten Island Tech made us a star chart. It is awesome. The idea is, (if you are unfamiliar with the concept of star charts) every time you bring a new member to a meeting, your school gets a star sticker. Only I was really excited to start it, since I had been accumulating a list of who would need stars, and I didn’t have stars, so instead we have two birds, a lion, a gorilla, and two hearts. It’s not exactly correct, but it’ll be pretty. I think, also, if you post on the discussion boards, you can also get a star.

Also, the Future Voters forum on the environment (which will be in more or less the same format as our forum on education) is on January 16th. It’s a tuesday. Everyone should come!
