Future Voters Forum on Youth Politics

Future Voters of America is having a forum on Youth Politics, and they’d like to have some NYCSU members there. FVA is another organization that works to give youth a voice, and has a lot of goals in common with us. Here’s the info:

FVA is a more or less youth-run organization that seeks to gain more political rights for youth and to politically empower and inform them.
We hold four forums every year on Youth Politics, the Environment, Education, and Teen Issues. The next forum coming up will be the Environment, which will be held at 4:30 on the Pace University campus, at 1 Pace Plaza. We also hold a Youth Congress every year in which a few hundred students from around the city debate which issues are important to them and decide democratically what Future Voters will work on for the year.
Our Steering Committee meets once a week in Midtown, and you are welcome to attend our meetings.
